India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has asked the Organisation for Eelam Refugees Rehabilitation (OfFER), a not for profit organisation having offices in Chennai and Colombo, to ascertain how many Sri Lankan Tamil refugees in India, especially in Tamil Nadu, are willing to return to Sri Lanka voluntarily.“If they [OfFER] give us a list of such persons, we can consider how we can help [in ensuring the transportation of people],” Vikas Swarup, spokesperson of the External Affairs Ministry, told The Hindu .
